You can get more success by being what you actually are than by pretending what you are not.
For many NCs you will find the conclusion of WLs/483s that the company presented/shared wrong information, which actually when investigated found wrong with respect to the therapeutic category of the product. Have you understood, I am taking about misbranding.
You will find many WLs due to misbranding. Where you will find that companies wrote on the label the therapeutic category in reality its not the actual Therapeutic Category.
The drug does not cure that disease actually but still the company has claimed to be the medicine to treat/cure that disease.
What may be the reason?
Might be possible that the departments involved in branding are not well connected with the R&D of the company. So they are not aware of the therapeutic category of the drug.
Now to increase the sale of the drug, branding is done to do the promises which are false promises. And hence the companies got involved in non-compliance issues. Which comes under the category of misbranding.
So presenting what your drug is not will always cause you commercial loss and not commercial gain.
